Exemption of Industrial Plant, Machinery and Spare Parts from PVOC
Dear UMA Member,
This is to inform you that following a petition of Uganda Manufacturers Association to Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Government has agreed to Exempt Industrial Machinery and Spare Parts from the PVOC Inspection Program. This is as long as they are not for re-sale. Subjecting these items to PVOC had contributed to increase in the cost of doing business.
